My issue is that although my topic is slightly compelling, and it's hardly timely in my opinion. What do you guys think? Any suggestions on how I can wow the crowd and brainwash them into becoming my "Ideal Audience" Henchmen? Thanks!

Commonplace Paper Problem
Ok folks, so my commonplace paper will revolve around how we need to have close relationships with those working closely beside us, in the workplace, classroom, sports team, etc. And I am talking about the benefits of that, and I am also using examples of how those close relationships have been proven successful.

Make it timely by using examples of people with good/bad relationships in today's society. Shaq and Kobe is one that a lot of people are informed about
ReplyDeletewow great idea Mack i will definitely use examples like that, and probably use that same example haha
ReplyDeleteI like Mack's idea, and was also going to say the same things. You could really look at different sports teams, and how teamwork plays such a huge role. Another thing you could look at is different times when branches of government work together/don’t. Like how more gets done in Washington under a unified government (the current administration is a good example) than under a divided one (Post-2006 Bush administration).
ReplyDeleteThere are many kinds of relationships you can write about and relate to in your paper. What Tess and Mack said are great examples and are different so it will make a good paper if you tie it in correctly.
ReplyDeleteI feel like if you give good examples of all three, (in the workplace, classroom, sports team) then it will relate to more people and be very compelling.
ReplyDeleteDefinately use Mack's idea. It is a perfect example. And I also feel as though it is a timely article and is relevant because it applies to just about everyone who is in the work force.
ReplyDeleteAll you have to do to make it timely would be to talk about how the communications between teams in real life either lead to great success or failure due to lack of communication.
